My Love HR

Chapter 1: Eid Delights and First Glances

Our story begins on a sunlit Eid day in year2009 inside the computer institute Lucknow, a celebration marking the end of Ramadan, when our paths first crossed. I was immersed in the world of engineering, struggling with circuits and equations, while she was fresh out of 12th grade, diving into the complexities of computer classes. The contrast between our lives was stark, yet our chance meeting that day was nothing short of serendipitous.

The local bazaar was alive with the colors and sounds of Eid. The air was fragrant with the aroma of freshly baked sweets, and the streets were lined with stalls offering everything from traditional attire to colorful trinkets. Amidst the festive chaos, our eyes met over a shared curiosity. She was with her friends, and I was wandering with mine, trying to make sense of my world amidst the festivities.

Chapter 2: Popcorn and Pathway Conversations

Our friendship blossomed over popcorn and footpath conversations. We would meet at the local movie theater, where we shared not only our favorite films but also our dreams and ambitions. Those evenings were filled with laughter and the crunch of popcorn, as we sat on the pavement, our conversations drifting from the mundane to the profound. The simplicity of those moments, with popcorn and a shared love for cinema, laid the foundation for something much deeper.

Chapter 3: Restaurant and Shared Meals

As our connection grew, so did our hangouts. Our dates moved from the footpath to a quaint restaurant where we savored fried rice, our favorite comfort food. Those dinners were more than just meals; they were opportunities to talk about everything and nothing, to share our hopes, and to get to know each other’s quirks. The warmth of the restaurant matched the warmth we felt in each other’s company.

Chapter 4: A World of Virtual Dreams

In a time before social media dominated our lives, we found solace in virtual spaces. Our conversations transcended the physical world, moving to the realm of emails and SMS. We poured our hearts out through clunky keyboards and small screens, finding joy in each message, comfort in every word. The virtual world became our secret garden, where we nurtured our growing affection.

Tum zindagi na sahi Dost bankar to zindagi me aao
Tum hansi na sahi Muskan bankar to zindagi me aao.
Tum haqiqat na sahi khyal bankar to zindagi me aao
Tum nazar na sahi yaad bankar to zindagi me aao.
Tum dil na sahi Dhadkan bankar to zindagi me aao
Tum gazal na sahi Shayeri bankar to zindagi me aao.
Tum khushiya na sahi gam bankar to zindagi me aao
Tum paas na sahi Ehsas bankar to zindagi me aao.
Tum kal na sahi Aaj bankar to zindagi me aao
Tum zindagi na sahi Dost bankar to zindagi me aao

Chapter 5: Digital Love: Photos and Chats

Our relationship evolved with the rise of digital communication. We shared countless photos—selfies in the park, candid shots from our outings, and pictures of mundane moments that suddenly felt special. Whatsapp and LinkedIn became our new playgrounds, where we exchanged messages that ranged from silly jokes to deep confessions. Heart emojis and love icons became our language, a digital shorthand for our feelings.

Chapter 6: Heartfelt Messages and Emotional Exchanges

Our SMS and email conversations were more than just exchanges of words; they were emotional lifelines. We shared our dreams, fears, and everything in between. Each message was a thread weaving our lives closer together. I remember the thrill of receiving a heart icon in her message, the small digital gesture that meant so much more.

Her messages were not only loving but also sprinkled with light-hearted humor that made me smile.

1-         Muskurahat Tumhi Se Milti Hai

Dil Ko Rahat Tumhi Se Milti Hai
            Ruthna Mat Kabhi Mujse Tum

5-      Duniya ka agar Dar hai toh Khwabon m mila kar...
Lafzon ki Trah hamse kitabon m mila kar.

Chapter 7: The Highs of Love and the Depths of Heartbreak

But as with all stories, there were ups and downs. Our love was a rollercoaster of joyful highs and heart-wrenching lows. We had moments of bliss, where everything felt perfect, and moments of conflict, where the distance between us seemed insurmountable. Our virtual exchanges couldn’t always bridge the gap created by misunderstandings and unmet expectations.

Chapter 8: The Bittersweet Farewell

Eventually, the time came when we had to part ways. It was a heartbreaking realization, and the end of our story was marked by a mix of sadness and acceptance. Our final messages were filled with sorrow and regret, as we reminisced about our time together and faced the reality that our paths were diverging. The heart icons and love symbols we once shared felt like distant memories, symbols of a love that had once been but was no longer.

Chapter 9: Reflections and Moving On

In the aftermath of our breakup, I reflected on the beautiful moments we shared. Our story was one of love, laughter, and learning. It was a journey through the stages of affection, from the first spark to the final farewell. Though our relationship didn’t last, it taught me valuable lessons about love, growth, and the inevitability of change.

Chapter 10: Embracing New Beginnings

Life moved on, and so did I. The experiences from our time together became cherished memories, shaping who I am today. Our story, with its mix of joy and sorrow, became a part of my personal history, a reminder of the beauty and fragility of love.

Chapter 11: Echoes of Yesterday

The past has a peculiar way of lingering, like shadows that stretch and bend with the setting sun. Our story begins in November 2015, a time when life seemed to be unfolding in parallel paths. I married that month, and she, whom I had once known intimately, tied the knot a month later in December. The distance between our lives grew as we embraced new beginnings. The years that followed were marked by silence, a silence that seemed to stretch indefinitely.

Two years later, she experienced a vivid dream, a powerful vision that I was in trouble. Dreams, however surreal, have a way of stirring up dormant emotions. The morning after this dream, she reached out to me. A message on Facebook followed by a phone call broke the silence that had stretched between us. It was as if the universe had orchestrated a reunion of sorts, reigniting a connection that had once been deeply cherished.

We began to chat again, and with each conversation, it felt like the clock had turned back, erasing the years that had passed. The digital exchange of thoughts and feelings continued seamlessly until August 2024, when I broke a promise I had made to myself. I had resolved to reveal my true feelings to her only in 2029, twenty years after our initial meeting in 2009. But emotions, as they are wont to do, did not adhere to such plans. I shared my heart with her earlier than intended.

Our discussions delved into our families, careers, and the love that had once been a significant part of our lives. It was a cathartic and beautiful exploration of what was and what might have been. But then, abruptly, she stopped responding. My messages went unanswered, and the silence was heavy with unanswered questions.

I tried to reach out, to understand why she had ceased communication, but my efforts were in vain. The hope that she might rekindle our connection lingered, but the reality of her marriage and the complexities it brought overshadowed my hopes. The finality of it all left me grappling with an incomplete life, a life marked by a profound sense of loss and longing.

Each day has become a testament to the pain of unfulfilled dreams and unanswered messages. I find myself checking for her updates, looking at her profile picture, and wishing for a sign, any sign, that she might still care. The void she left is a constant ache, a reminder of a love that could have been but never fully materialized.

And so, I continue through life with the weight of what might have been, holding onto the fragile hope that one day, somehow, things might change. Until then, I remain in the echo of yesterday, endlessly yearning for the connection that slipped away.
